12th NAI apollo group Soccer Cup: Record sum of € 8,000 raised for charity

Frankfurt am Main, 21.06.2018 – Owner-managed real-estate consultants NAI apollo – a partner of the NAI apollo group – has held its NAI apollo group Soccer Cup for the twelfth time. A total of 20 teams – mainly from the real-estate industry – vied for the title at the training centre of German football league club Eintracht Frankfurt. Around 500 spectators and players made their way to the Riederwald district. A record sum of € 8,000 was raised for a good cause. This year, the donations will be going to the charity brotZeit e.V., which helps around 200 schools across Germany to provide children with a healthy breakfast. Three of the schools are located in Frankfurt, and funding will be extended to further institutions in the city in the new school year.

Lenny Lemler, a partner of NAI apollo and one of the organisers, said: “Football brings people together – the Soccer Cup has become a fixture on the real estate industry's annual calendar of events. Along with the positive feedback from participants and visitors, we were particularly delighted with the huge amount of money raised, all of which will be going to the charity brotZeit e.V.” The NAI apollo group Soccer Cup will, of course, take place in 2019 again.

This year's cup was won by first-time entrant Corpus Sireo Real Estate GmbH. In an exciting final, the company beat 2017 winners, Engel & Völkers Main-Taunus GmbH, 1:0 on penalties. Before that, the new champion narrowly won against NAI apollo in the semi-final, thus preventing the hosts from reaching the final for the third consecutive year after 2016 and 2017.

Huge thanks go to the sponsors of this year's NAI apollo group Soccer Cup: Audi Frankfurt GmbH, designfunktion Kronberg GmbH, GONDER Facility Services GmbH, LBBW Immobilien Management GmbH, TH Real Estate, Areal Consulting GmbH and Immobilienscout GmbH.
