LUNUX leases 8,000 sqm of additional storage space in Sarstedt near Hanover NAI apollo real estate in Frankfurt acts as agent for lighting manufacturer

Frankfurt am Main, Laatzen 04.07.2017 – Owner-managed real estate consultancy NAI apollo real estate from Frankfurt arranged the letting of an 8,000 sqm logistics space in Sarstedt to lighting manufacturer LUNUX from Laatzen. LUNUX, which provides professional lighting systems, is expanding its operations and required additional storage facilities for lighting solutions produced at its site in Germany.

"The new warehouse not only provides us with additional space but is also very well situated from a logistics perspective. The proximity to our site in Laatzen, where our 150 employees develop, design and produce efficient lighting systems, is particularly advantageous. The new storage facility allows us to forge ahead with our expansion into an all-round provider of professional lighting and supply our customers with fast deliveries of indoor and outdoor lighting solutions," said Mathias Schmidt, managing director of LUNUX. The company is one of the few suppliers that can offer a complete range of professional lighting systems.

In future, LUNUX will use the building in Sarstedt as a central warehouse for industrial, retail and public lighting products as well as architectural, railway and harbour lighting. The company will also benefit from the good transport infrastructure: the town in the district of Hildesheim is connected to the road network by the A7 motorway as well as the B6 highway.

The landlord is Bertram Projektmanagement GmbH, a property development company with a focus on offices. The acquisition of the premises in Sarstedt represents its first foray into the logistics property market.
