NAI apollo brings go-kart operator to Frankfurt am Main

Frankfurt am Main, 25.04.2018 – Owner-managed real estate consultancy NAI apollo – partner of the NAI apollo group – has arranged the letting of a commercial property in Frankfurt-Preungesheim to Eco-Kart GmbH. A private landlord is building a hall with 2,500 sqm gross floor space at 31, August-Schanz-Straße, and the go-kart operator is expected to move into the premises during August 2018.

Eco-Kart GmbH plans to build an environmentally friendly go-kart track on three levels of the property. All go-karts will be electrically powered, and will therefore produce zero local emissions. “The conditions imposed by the licensing authority for a recreational facility are very strict. Thus it was a major challenge to find a suitable site and an owner for the implementation of this project. We are delighted that Frankfurt is now finally getting a go-kart track again,” said Stefan Weyrauch, Senior Consultant Industrial Letting at NAI apollo. There has been no go-kart track in Frankfurt since the closure of the indoor track on Kruppstraße, forcing go-kart enthusiasts to travel to Wiesbaden or Mainz.

The site for the go-kart track is situated opposite the training and further education centre for the federal police force in a busy commercial area near to the A661 motorway. The location is a ten-minute bus drive from the Frankfurter Berg railway station (S-Bahn) and within walking distance of the Preungesheim metro station.
