NAI apollo group celebrates record attendance at 11th Soccer Cup

Frankfurt am Main, 12.05.2017 – The owner-managed real estate consultancy network NAI apollo group recently hosted the Soccer Cup for what is now the 11th time. More than 420 spectators and players made their way to the training ground of the Eintracht Frankfurt football club in the Riederwald district - marking a new record number. A further major success was that €6,400 was raised in donations for the ‘Internationales Kinderhaus' — a recreational facility for children that is run by the Evangelischer Verein für Jugendsozialarbeit (Evangelical Association for Youth Social Work) in Frankfurt am Main. The proceeds will be spent on new kitchen furniture in the childcare centre.

Lenny Lemler, managing partner of the NAI apollo group and co-organiser of the event, said: "Now in its 11th year, the Soccer Cup is a permanent fixture among the various charity tournaments organised by the real estate sector. We are particularly pleased with the positive feedback from the many participants who are willing to support a good cause once a year." The next tournament is already being planned for 2018.

The winner of the NAI apollo group Soccer Cup 2017 was Engel & Völkers Main-Taunus GmbH. The company won 2:0 against NAI apollo group in a closely contested final. E&V has thus celebrated its second triumph in one of the largest football tournaments organised by the real estate sector in Germany, while the NAI apollo group missed out on another victory. The hosts won the semi-final against Colliers International in a close penalty shootout and reached the finals for the second time in succession. "Lebbe geht weider" - a local phrase meaning something like "life goes on" - was the inevitable comment on the result from Dragoslav Stepanovic, trainer of the NAI apollo group and patron of the event.

Finally, a special word of thanks goes to the sponsors of this year's NAI apollo group Soccer Cup, with Audizentrum Frankfurt, LBBW Immobilien and TH Real Estate as top sponsors and Feldhoff & Cie, Immobilienscout 24 and Trium as sponsors.
