NAI apollo group Soccer Cup: Real estate industry's traditional football tournament enters 11th round

Frankfurt am Main, 25.04.2017 – On May 5th, 2017, the traditional annual football tournament for companies from the real estate sector takes place for the 11th time at the sports training facility of German Bundesliga team, Eintracht Frankfurt. The Soccer Cup, hosted by the owner-managed property consultancy network NAI apollo group will again combine sporting activities with support for a good cause. This year, all funds raised will be donated to the ‘Internationales Kinderhaus' — a recreational facility for children aged between 6 and 13 that is run by the Evangelischener Verein für Jugendsozialarbeit (Protestant Association for Youth Social Work) in Frankfurt am Main. The facility also provides a free lunch meal, homework supervision and many other services.

Last year, 16 teams from the real estate sector took part in the event, which is held under the patronage of Eintracht Frankfurt legend Dragoslav Stepanović. At the time, a total of €6,400 was raised for the "Bärenherz" foundation. "It has always been a hugely successful event. This year we again expect to see some exciting matches — and hopefully, fair play — in the fight for the title," said Lenny Lemler, partner of NAI apollo group and co-organiser of the charity tournament.

Von Poll Immobilien GmbH won the cup in 2016 after beating NAI apollo group in a very exciting final. Coach Dragoslav Stepanović is nonetheless optimistic about the 11th attempt by the host and two-time title-holder to win the cup: "The team has trained very hard and will hopefully be one of the main contenders in the tournament."

The small-pitch tournament will kick off at 2pm on the football grounds at 1, Alfred-Pfaff-Straße in Frankfurt am Main. The total number of players and spectators reached 400 in 2016 — and NAI apollo group is hoping to again beat last year's record figure in 2017.
