NAI apollo negotiates lease for 1,800 sqm of office space in the Rhine-Main region

Frankfurt am Main, 22.11.2017 – Owner-managed real estate consultancy NAI apollo – partner of the NAI apollo group – has negotiated lease contracts for a total 1,800 sqm of office space at five locations in the Rhine-Main region.

The largest individual contract concerns a logistics property in Lorsch, at 2 Industriestraße. Here, SPL Powerlines Germany GmbH is moving into new premises with a total area of 600 sqm. NAI apollo also successfully leased a unit in the MainBuilding near the "Alte Oper" (old opera house). Allianz Real Estate is letting a 471-sqm office unit to SITUS Deutschland GmbH.

Radomir Vasilijevic, Head of Office and Retail Letting at NAI apollo, said: "The Frankfurt office district continues to show very positive development." The July to September 2017 period represented the strongest third quarter of the last 10 years, with total space take-up of 183,900 sqm by tenants and owner-occupiers. The second-highest take-up volume since 2000 is also a very likely outcome for the year as a whole. "Large deals in particular, partially as a consequence of Brexit, will help generate an above-average take-up volume in the fourth quarter," added Vasilijevic.

NAI apollo arranged the letting of another office space at 5a Kaiserstraße in Frankfurt city centre. A non-profit association is opening a branch here with 270 sqm of rental space. In addition, Elsen + partner is letting 230 sqm of office space to Steuerkanzlei Fender at 49 Kurfürstenstraße to support the firm's expansion. Property management company J. Buchmann is also letting a 216-sqm office unit at 351 Mainzer Landstraße to a company involved in arts and events.
