Press release NAI Global Team Reaches Milestone for IWG Expansion in Mexico City
Munich, August 18, 2025 – The International Workplace Group (IWG), a global leader in flexible workspace solutions, continues to consistently drive its worldwide expansion: securing a long-term lease for 3,600 sqm of office space in Mexico City marks another step on the company’s journey from 4,000 to 40,000 locations by 2030. This success was made possible through cross-continental collaboration among NAI Global partner firms.
Led by NAI apollo Munich, a long-standing partner of IWG, the cooperation of several companies—including Tobias Schultheiß FRICS SIOR of Blackbird Real Estate GmbH, acting as International Desk for NAI Partners Germany, and Harold Hoekstra of NAI Mexico—quickly delivered results. In spring of this year, they jointly identified office spaces that perfectly matched IWG’s growth strategy in Latin America.
Only a few weeks later, Hoekstra’s team found the ideal partner—an office property owner in the heart of Mexico City. The result: the signing of a Managed Client Agreement securing the long-term use of 3,600 sqm. This agreement strengthens IWG’s presence in one of Latin America’s most important markets and at the same time marks the starting point for further projects. Negotiations are already underway with the same owner for four additional premium locations, underscoring IWG’s continued growth momentum in the region.
“This is a prime example of what is possible when global vision meets trusted local expertise. And it is also proof of the strength of the NAI Global network—from Munich to Mexico City,” emphasized Schultheiß.
