NAI apollo secures lease renewal with building services wholesaler in Dietzenbach

Frankfurt am Main, 17.04.2018 – Richter + Frenzel GmbH + Co. KG, one of the leading wholesalers inthe sanitary, building services and civil engineering product segments, has extended its lease contract for premises at 7-9, Robert-Bosch-Straße in Dietzenbach by a further 15 years. The asset management division of owner-managed real estate consultancy NAI apollo – partner of NAI apollo group – was responsible for brokering the extension of the contract for the space, which comprises about 1,200-sqm of storage and approx. 200-sqm of office space. In addition, a new commercial hall with approx. 930 sqm is being constructed on the site under the overall direction of apollo real estate management GmbH. Once completed, the new building will be used as a show room by Richter+Frenzel.

NAI apollo hires three employees to strengthen investment unit

Frankfurt am Main, 10.04.2018 – Owner-managed real estate consultancy NAI apollo – partner of the NAI apollo group – has appointed three new team members to its investment division with effect from 1 April 2018. Sven Tilse (Principal Consultant), Tobias Kern (Consultant) and Andreas Hamm (Sales Coordinator) will support the expansion of the company's investment business from its headquarters in Frankfurt.

NAI apollo: Residential portfolio market in Germany makes best start to a year since the record period of 2015

  • Purchase of BUWOG by Vonovia responsible for best start to a year since 2015 record period
  • More large deals registered compared to previous years

Frankfurt am Main, 05.04.2018 – According to the latest analysis by owner-managed real estate consultancy NAI apollo – partner of the NAI apollo group – the residential portfolio investment market in Germany has maintained the strong momentum that was already evident at the end of 2017. In the first quarter of 2018, the transaction volume increased by as much as 86.6 % to about €6.9 billion compared to the same period of the previous year (2017: €3.7 billion). This therefore marks the best start to a year since the record result in 2015. A total of 47,900 residential units changed hands (Q1 2017: 27,700).

NAI apollo: Office lettings market in Frankfurt am Main starts 2018 with a significant increase in take-up

  • Quarterly take-up of 136,800 sqm is 41.1 % above the long-term average
  • Banks, financial service providers and insurers continue to dominate the office lettings scene
  • Strongest growth registered in contracts for small and medium-sized spaces
  • Vacancies now as low as 916,000 sqm
  • Sharp rise in rents
  • Outlook for 2018: Space take-up well above the 500,000-sqm mark, further reduction in vacancies and rental price growth

Frankfurt am Main, 03.04.2018 – The Frankfurt market for office space including Eschborn and Offenbach-Kaiserlei exceeded the previous year’s result by a considerable margin in the first quarter of 2018, according to the latest analysis by owner-managed real estate consultancy NAI apollo – partner of the NAI apollo group. This is reflected by an increase in the number of lease contract signings and a higher take-up volume. In the first three months of 2018, the number of contracts stood at 178 — which is 8.5 % higher than the already good result of the previous year (Q1 2017: 164). Compared to the first quarter of 2017, space take-up by tenants and owner-occupiers grew 9.9 % to 136,800 sqm and represents one of the best first quarters since the turn of the century. The result is also 41.1 % above the average for the past five years (Q1 2013 – Q1 2017: 96,900 sqm per quarter). “The excellent start to the year was influenced by the general market recovery, but especially by the strong growth in lettings of small and medium-sized spaces,” said Radomir Vasilijevic, Head of Office & Retail Letting at NAI apollo.

NAI apollo helps sporting goods provider Burton with rental of new premises on Munich's Viktualienmarkt

Frankfurt am Main, 21.03.2018 – Owner-managed real estate consultancy NAI apollo – partner of the NAI apollo group – has secured new premises for Burton Sportartikel GmbH at 10-12 Münchener Frauenstraße. The market leader in the field of snowboard products will in future operate a showroom with adjoining shop and office space in the mixed-use building. The opening is scheduled for early 2018. The landlord of the rented space is a private owner.

NAI apollo brokers large transactions worth €600m

Frankfurt am Main, 23.02.2018 – In the past nine months, owner-managed real estate consultancy NAI apollo – partner of the NAI apollo group – brokered the sale of ten office and residential properties in the Rhine-Main region alone, with a total value of about €600 million. The office properties accounted for approx. €510 million of the overall volume and residential units for the remaining €90 million. About 90 % of the deals took place in the Frankfurt am Main city area. Many of the buyers have an international background, and French, US and Israeli investors were particularly active in the city on the river Main.

NAI apollo brokers a new deal: Regus doubles its rental space in Frankfurt's ‘Opera Tower'

Frankfurt am Main, 14.02.2018 – Regus, the world market leader in flexible office space, is leasing an additional 1,500 sqm of office space in Frankfurt am Main's ‘Opera Tower' (Opernturm). Owner-managed retail estate consultancy NAI apollo – partner of the NAI apollo group – negotiated the 10-year lease to seal the deal. Regus already occupies around 1,500 sqm in the Opera Tower and provides office space that can be used in a flexible manner under the brand Excellent Business Center. It plans to take over the new space on the 24th floor from April 2018, thereby doubling its capacity of well-appointed office space that is also immediately available.

NAI apollo brokers sale of office and industrial building in Hanau

Frankfurt am Main, 30.01.2018 - NAI apollo – partner of the NAI apollo group – was responsible for brokering the sale of an office and industrial building in Hanau near Frankfurt am Main. The property has a total usable area of 2,500 sqm. NAI apollo advised the buyer and seller during the transaction, and both are private investors. The parties agreed not to disclose the purchase price.

NAI apollo negotiates letting of 5,000 sqm of storage and office space to MSG Frucht on former air base in Erlensee

Frankfurt am Main, 25.01.2018 – Owner-managed real estate consultancy NAI apollo – partner of the NAI apollo group – brokered a lease contract between the tenant MSG Frucht GmbH and the landlord, project developer Fäth Immobilien, for a logistics property with a usable area of 5,000 sqm, located on the former US military air base in Erlensee. NAI apollo was awarded the exclusive mandate for the letting of a usable area of about 24,000 sqm in the premises, called "Am Fliegerhorst 1304". More than 7,000 sqm of the total area has already been let.

NAI apollo: Market for warehouse and logistics space in the Rhine-Main area achieves record result in 2017

Frankfurt am Main, 24.01.2018 – In 2017, space take-up by tenants and owner-occupiers on the market for warehouse and logistics space in the Rhine-Main area reached about 769,000 sqm. According to an analysis by owner-managed real estate consultancy NAI apollo – partner of the NAI apollo group – this result not only surpassed the 700,000-sqm threshold for the second time but also exceeded the 2014 record figure by 16,000 sqm.
